Omarion Hampton Biography

Omarion Hampton is an American professional football running back for the Los Angeles Chargers. A native of Forest City, North Carolina, he rushed for 5,370 yards and 88 touchdowns in high school, earning the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Football honors. He went to play at the University of North Carolina, where he amassed 3,164 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns over his final two seasons. 

He was a two-time Doak Walker Award finalist, earned first-team All-ACC honors, and was named a first-team All-American by the AFCA in 2024.

The Chargers selected him 22nd overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
