Ilia Topuria is a Spanish-Georgian UFC fighter best known for being the current Featherweight Champion as of early 2025. Nicknamed “El Matador,” he started training in martial arts at age seven in Georgia, initially in Greco-Roman wrestling, before moving to Spain at 15 and transitioning to MMA. He turned pro soon after, building an undefeated 14-0 record before his UFC debut in 2020.
