College Football Phenom & Christian Philanthropist Will Deliver Message to Nation’s Heartland

They have announced that Tim Tebow, one of college football’s most iconic figures and fixtures in American sports, will be the keynote speaker to address attendees during their general session closing on Monday, January 12. Tebow will deliver a message that brings faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
“Farmers, ranchers and professional athletes share a commitment to teamwork, passion and optimism,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall. “We look forward to hearing Tim Tebow’s inspiring message as we prepare for another year of producing the food, fiber and renewable fuel that we all rely on.”
Tebow gained fame at the University of Florida, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2007 as a sophomore and leading the Gators to two national championships (2006, 2008). His dual-threat playing style through the air and bludgeoning running game electrified the college football world in the late 2000s.

Drafted 25th overall by the Denver Broncos in 2010, Tebow’s NFL career was polarizing. His improbable 2011 season, marked by clutch wins and “Tebowmania,” saw him lead the Broncos to a playoff victory over Pittsburgh. After brief stints with a handful of NFL franchises, Tebow transitioned to baseball, playing in the New York Mets’ minor league system from 2016 to 2021.
He is a five-time New York Times best-selling author and speaker off the field. His philanthropic work through the Tim Tebow Foundation and media roles with ESPN have kept the college football legend top-of-mind as a beacon of resilience and a role model with his outspoken Christian faith.
