William Nylander is a Swedish professional ice hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. At the forward position, he is most notable for his combination of shooting and passing abilities on the offensive end. He was the 8th pick of the 2014 NHL Draft and was able to make a smooth transition from his junior career to professional hockey. Internationally, Nylander helped lead Sweden to the 2017 World Championship title and was named tournament MVP.
