Tomas Berdych is a former professional tennis player who was ranked as high as fourth in the World Rankings. Berdych captured 13 major singles wins, with his most notable coming at the Paris Masters in 2005. 

Berdych reached the semifinals at each of the Grand Slam events. His 2010 performance at Wimbledon was particularly noteworthy, where he defeated Roger Federer in the quarters and Novak Djokovic in the semis before eventually losing to Rafael Nadal in the finals.
