Tahj Brooks Biography

Tahj Brooks is an NFL running back for the Cincinnati Bengals. Hailing from Manor, Texas, he was a standout at Manor High School, where he rushed for over 4,400 yards and 47 touchdowns, earning first-team All-District honors. Brooks played college football for Texas Tech Red Raiders (2020–2024), becoming the program’s all-time leading rusher with 4,538 yards, surpassing Byron Hanspard in 2024. He recorded 45 touchdowns, set a school record with 23 career 100+ yard games, and was the only Red Raider with multiple 1,500-yard seasons. A two-time All-Big 12 selection and first-team Academic All-American, he was a 2023 Doak Walker Award semifinalist. The Bengals selected him in the sixth round (193rd overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft.
