Scott Pioli Biography

Scott Pioli is a renowned American football executive with a 30-year career in the NFL. He began in the Cleveland Browns' personnel department in 1992, advancing to key roles with the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets. From 2000 to 2008, as the New England Patriots' vice president of player personnel, he helped build teams that won three Super Bowls, four AFC championships, and six division titles. Named NFL Executive of the Year five times and Executive of the Decade (2000–2010) by ESPN and others, Pioli served as Kansas City Chiefs GM (2009–2012) and Atlanta Falcons assistant GM (2013–2019). Now a consultant with 51 Consulting LLC, he is an NFL Network analyst and advises college programs, such as the Iowa Hawkeyes, on roster management and revenue sharing.
