Robert Golden Biography

Robert Golden is a former NFL safety and educational entrepreneur. A four-star recruit from Edison High School, he played college football at the University of Arizona (2008–2011), switching from cornerback to strong safety. Golden recorded 170 tackles, four interceptions, and a pick-six against Stanford. Undrafted in 2012, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, debuting with two tackles in Week 1. Over six seasons (2012–2017), he played 84 games, starting 18, with 130 tackles, two interceptions, and five forced fumbles, excelling on special teams. He joined the Kansas City Chiefs thereafter as a practice squad member and was released at his request. In 2020, Golden founded Golden Charter Academy, America’s first TK-8th Environmental Stewardship Zoo School in Fresno, emphasizing sustainability and eco-focused education.
