Mark Wiliams is an American NBA center for the Charlotte Hornets. Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, he was a consensus five-star recruit. He played at Duke University (2020–2022), earning ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2022, averaging 11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game as a sophomore. His defensive prowess and athleticism made him a standout.

Selected 15th overall by the Hornets in the 2022 NBA Draft, Williams showed promise in his rookie season (2022–23), averaging 9.0 points and 7.1 rebounds in 19.3 minutes across 43 games. In the 2024–25 season, he posted career-highs of 15.3 points and 10.2 rebounds over 44 games, with a 65.4% field goal percentage.
