The English middle-distance runner Keely Nicole Hodgkinson has quickly become one of the world's top athletes. Keely Nicole Hodgkinson was born on March 3, 2002 in Atherton, Greater Manchester before starting her athletic career in the heptathlon before moving to the 800 meters. Great Britain's Keely Hodgkinson has established herself as a top competitor in her event through her strategic racing style and powerful finishing sprints.

Hodgkinson became the second-youngest British woman to win an Olympic medal when she took silver in the 800 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics while breaking Kelly Holmes' British record from 1995. Under the guidance of Trevor Painter and Jenny Meadows she trains at the elite Font-Romeu training base in the French Pyrenees to prepare for major international competitions.  

Hodgkinson has become a fashion star and a well-known public figure in the UK while competing off the track. The BBC Sports Personality of the Year award went to Hodgkinson in 2024 because of her achievements in sports and her wider influence.
