Evan Dunham Biography

Evan Dunham is an American mixed martial artist who is currently fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Dunham began wrestling in middle school and continued wrestling through high school. It was not until 2000, when he was attending the University of Oregon when he began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. As an amateur in 2006, Dunham fought Gray Maynard and lost the fight by a unanimous decision. Dunham’s debut took place in 2007 where he had a total of five fights. After winning six consecutive fights, Dunham was invited to fight for Palace Fighting Championship. On February 21, 2009, Dunham made his UFC debut against Per Eklund and UFC 95. Dunham received his first loss on September 25, 2010 against Sean Sherk, due to a controversial split. Dunham is scheduled to face Rodrigo Damm on January 3, 2015. During his time in UFC, Durham has won Fight of the Night three times and Submission of the Night once.
