Eric Piatkowski Biography

Eric Piatkowski is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After completing his eligibility at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Piatkowski was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the 15th pick of the 1994 NBA Draft. The Pacers immediately traded his draft rights to the Los Angeles Clippers. After nine seasons with the Clippers he signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Houston Rockets before the 2003-04 season. Piatkowski became a Chicago Bull on September 8, 2004. On July 13, 2006, Piatkowski officially signed with the Phoenix Suns, agreeing on a two-year, $2.4 million deal. In 2008, his NBA career came to an end with a total of 5,919 points averaging to 7.5 points per game, 1716 Rebounds averaging to 2.2 rebounds per game and 778 assists averaging to 1.0 assists per game.
