Dakota Joshua is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 206 lbs, Joshua was drafted 128th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the St. Louis Blues in the 2020–21 season before signing with the Canucks in July 2022. Known for his physical play and versatility, Joshua achieved career highs with 18 goals and 14 assists in 63 games during the 2023–24 season. In June 2024, he signed a four-year, $13 million contract extension with Vancouver. Later that summer, Joshua was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent successful surgery.
