At Northeastern, he posted a 14-9 record with a 2.67 ERA, 180 strikeouts in 182 innings, earning CAA Rookie of the Year and Freshman All-American honors in 2021. His arsenal includes a four-seam fastball, slider, changeup, curve, and sinker. In the 2025 playoffs, the 24-year-old shone in the AL Wild Card Game 3, tossing eight shutout innings with 12 strikeouts, zero walks, and five hits to eliminate his hometown Boston Red Sox.
