Alissa Katelina Pili was born on June 8, 2001, in Anchorage, Alaska. She is a dynamic forward for the Minnesota Lynx and an emerging star in the WNBA. She stands at 5-foot-11 and has a powerful athletic build that made her stand out from a young age.

She was excellent at Dimond High School, winning the Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year three times, setting the state scoring record (2,614 points), and winning 13 state championships in basketball, volleyball, track & field (shot put, discus), and wrestling. She was a two-time MaxPreps Female High School Athlete of the Year, praised for her “uniquely gifted” combination of strength and skill.

She started her college career at USC in 2019, earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors after averaging 16.3 PPG and eight rebounds, including a career-high 32-point game against Washington State.
