Abdul Carter Biography

Abdul Carter is an American professional football defensive end for the New York Football Giants. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he played football at Penn State University, earning unanimous All-American honors and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award in 2024. 

Carter was selected third overall by the Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft. Known for his explosive athleticism, versatility, and pass-rushing ability, he recorded 68 tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks in his junior season. 

Carter is the first Muslim player to be selected Top 3 overall in NFL Draft history.
