Washington Nationals Outfielder Adam Eaton Speaks at Springfield/Clark County Baseball Hall of Fame Banquet Next Month

Springfield, Ohio native and Washington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton is returning home for a special event next month. He is speaking at the Springfield/Clark County Baseball Hall of Fame banquet.

The event takes place January 6th at 7 p.m. at the Hollenbeck Bayley Center at Clark State. Individual tickets are $20 and they are available for purchase at the National Trail Parks & Recreation Office.

The deadline to get tickets is December 29th. Eaton should have a unique perspective to provide as a 2014 inductee into the Hall of Fame.

Eaton has been in the major leagues for seven seasons. His first season with Washington was cut short this past spring when he tore his ACL.

In 2014 and 2016, Eaton led the American League in triples with the Chicago White Sox. He originally came up with the Arizona Diamondbacks at the end of the 2012 season.

Eaton was a Pioneer League All-Star, California League All-Star and Pacific Coast League Most Valuable Player during his time in the minor leagues. He played college baseball at Miami University.
