Jockey Rosie Napranik has been a trailblazer in horse racing. She will share some stories from her career as the keynote speaker at the Equine Symposium & Convention. 

The event is being organized by the United States Pony Clubs, Inc. It will be held January 24-28 at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Napravnik is speaking at the Saturday night awards banquet. Earlybird registration for the conference is available through November 15th and it costs $135 for adults and $105 for kids. 

Napravnik is the only woman to have been a jockey in all three Triple Crown races. Her fifth place finish in the 2013 Kentucky Derby and third place showing in the Preakness Stakes are the best finishes in those races for a woman.  

Napravnik was the champion of the Kentucky Oaks in 2012 and 2014. She finished in the top ten on the National Earnings List for Jockeys for three straight years from 2012-14. 

Napravnik is the only women to win at least two Breeders Cup races. Even though she is no longer an active jockey, she stays active in the sport as a trainer with her husband, Joe Sharp.
