UConn Football Coach Randy Edsall Keynotes Chamber of Commerce Breakfast August 24th

UConn football coach Randy Edsall is back with the Huskies and making connections back in the community. On August 24th, he will serve as keynote speaker at the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting.

The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell and it is being sponsored by the People's United Bank. Edsall will share thoughts on coaching and leadership.

He will also preview the 2017 season which begins when UConn kicks off the season on August 31st. It should be a great event for Huskies fans.

Edsall originally built the UConn program in his first coaching stint from 1999-2011. He helped the program transition from the FCS to FBS level.

After four years as an FBS independent, Edsall and the Huskies joined the Big East Conference in 2004. They won two Big East titles under his watch and made a trip to the Fiesta Bowl following the 2010 season.

Edsall went on to spend five seasons as the head coach at the University of Maryland. He was the Director of Football Research for the Detroit Lions in 2016.
