Ebix has agreed to a multiyear global partnership with one of the best tennis players in the world. Tomas Berdych is working as a brand ambassador with the on-demand software and e-commerce services supplier. 

The deal with Ebix went into effect at the Australian Open. Berdych will assist them with customer engagement, advertising, social and marketing opportunities. 

He is also wearing an Ebix patch on his athletic apparel in competition. The company already had a deal with another top ranked men's singles players, John Isner, prior to signing Berdych. 

Berdych is currently ranked 12th in the ATP world rankings. He has finished in the top ten for seven straight seasons, peaking at fourth in the world in May 2015. 

Overall, Berdych has won 13 ATP Tour titles and has made the ATP Finals six straight years. He is one of five active players that has reached at least the semifinals of all four Grand Slams. 

Berdych has led the Czech Republic to two Davis Cup titles. He first made international tennis waves for winning the Paris Masters in 2005 after beginning the tournament as an unseeded player.
