Top Ranked Women’s Golfer Lydia Ko Signs Endorsement Deal with PXG

Top ranked women's golfer Lydia Ko has had some incredible accomplishments in her young career. This week, she has a new endorsement opportunity backing her budding stardom.

Ko is now with Parsons Xtreme Golf and will use their golf clubs in competition. They originally entered the golf business in 2014 and have quickly become embraced by major players on the PGA and LPGA Tours.

With the signing of Ko, PXG is hoping to bolster their growth internationally. Some of the top names they have attached to their brand include Zach Johnson, Charl Schwartzel and Christie Kerr.

Since turning professional at 16 years old in 2013, Ko has taken the golf world by storm. She is the youngest golfer ever to win a professional tournament, LPGA event, major championship and be ranked number one in the world.

In total, Ko has won 19 pro tournaments and 14 LPGA Tour events. After being named LPGA Rookie of the Year in 2014, she was tour Player of the Year and the money leader in 2015.

This past summer, Ko won a silver medal for New Zealand at the Olympics. She is a three-time New Zealand Sportswoman of the Year and was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in 2014.
