Three-Time Super Bowl Champion Roman Phifer Keynotes Pasadena Quarterbacks Club Luncheon Friday

Three-time Super Bowl champion Roman Phifer has deep roots in Los Angeles that dates back to his college days. Tomorrow, he will be the keynote speaker at the Pasadena Quarterbacks Club luncheon. 

Doors open at the University Club at 11 a.m. and the program begins at noon. Admission is $25 for members, $30 non-members and the price includes a buffet lunch. 

In addition to Phifer's presentation, St. Francis High School football coach Jim Bonds will speak. The event is sponsored by the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation. 

Phifer was an honorable-mention All-American at UCLA. He stayed in town when the Los Angeles Rams selected him in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft. 

Phifer spent his first eight seasons with the Rams and became a four-time Pro Bowl alternate. He also went on to win three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. 

In 2009, Phifer coached linebackers for the Denver Broncos. He is currently back at his alma mater at UCLA's director of player development.
