St. Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli has been one of the most respected people in college basketball for years. His words were well received when he spoke last month at the iBall Coaches Clinic. 

The event took place at Pottstown Senior High School in Pennsylvania on June 24th. The camp was hosted by iBall United and A3 Hoops Shoot the Lights Out on Cancer. 

Proceeds from the one-day camp benefited Philadelphia Coaches vs. Cancer. There was a suggested donation of $75 to attend the iBall Coaches Clinic. 

Martelli has been the head coach at St. Joseph's for 22 seasons. He has led the program to seven NCAA Tournaments and six appearances in the NIT. 

St. Joseph's has won four Atlantic 10 regular season championships and three A-10 Tournament titles under Martelli. On four occasions, he has been named A-10 Coach of the Year. 

In 2004, the Hawks went 30-2 and made a run to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Martelli was named the Associated Press National Coach of the Year and the Naismith Coach of the Year.
