Sacred Heart of Jesus High School in Jackson, Tennessee recently brought an infamous coach in to speak. "Remember the Titans" subject Herman Boone spoke on Tuesday at the school's Scholarship Banquet. 

The event took place at Northside United Methodist Church from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Boone talked about coaching the team from the film and how they came together. 

He also shared his definition of team. The school and its students greatly benefited from his visit. 

In the film, Boone was portrayed by Hollywood star Denzel Washington. The story of his efforts as head football coach of the newly integrated T.C. Williams High School touched the hearts of the country when it hit the big screen in 2000. 

During Boone's first year, his team won the Virginia State Championship and finished ranked second in the national polls. Throughout his entire coaching career, he won six Coach of the Year awards. 

Boone remains a popular public speaker, sharing a first-hand account of the Remember the Titans story. Last year, he won a Living Legends of Alexandria Award for his work at T.C. Williams.
