Reigning U.S. Amateur Champion Bryson DeChambeau Signs Endorsement Deal with Cobra Puma Golf

After a banner week at the Masters, 22-year-old Bryson DeChambeau is turning pro, starting at this weekend's RBC Heritage.  With his decision comes the lucrative opportunity of endorsement deals.

DeChambeau's first agreement is with Cobra Puma Golf.  He will start his career playing a Cobra driver and wearing Puma clothing and shoes.

Cobra Puma also bosts young golf stars Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompmson on their roster.  In addition to that partnership, DeChambeau signed an agreement to use Bridgestone golf balls.

In 2015, DeChambeau became just the fifth golfer ever to win the NCAA Men's Individual Championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same year.  Last week, he flashed more of his potential, finishing tied for 21st and as the low amateur at the tournament at the Masters.

Leading up to his decision to turn pro, DeChambeau made the cut in seven of his last eight events.  He had a notable tie for second in November at the Australian Masters.

DeChambeau played his college golf at Southern Methodist University.  He gained notoreity as "The Golf Scientist" after studying physics at SMU and for his unique set of same-length irons.
