The On Goal Speaker Series is getting a huge boost for their first event. Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan will be the headline speaker on Wednesday. 

The presentation takes place at 4:30 p.m. at the Pittsburgh City Center Marriott. The series will also host speakers with messages geared towards the local business community in December and January. 

HBK CPAs and Consultants are hosting the series along with the Penguins. In addition to sharing lessons from his coaching career, Sullivan will also participate in a happy hour and question and answer session. 

Sullivan has led Pittsburgh to back-to-back Stanley Cups in his first two seasons as head coach. He joined the organization in 2015 as the head coach of the team's AHL affiliate, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, before being promoted midseason. 

Sullivan also served as the head coach of the Boston Bruins for two seasons. He has had assistant coaching stints with the Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks. 

Sullivan began his coaching career in the AHL as head coach of the Providence Bruins. He had an 11-year playing career in the NHL.
