Pegula Sports and Entertainment CEO Kim Pegula Keynotes Penn State Sports Business Conference Next Month

Penn State University is hosting their first Sports Business Conference month. Pegula Sports and Entertainment CEO Kim Pegula is scheduled as the keynote speaker. 

Pegula is speaking on March 16th at 9:15 a.m. at the Katz Law Building. Conference activities officially kick off on March 15th with a networking event inside Beaver Stadium. 

There will also be professional panels and interest group discussions. Tickets for the conference are $50 for members of the public and $20 for students. 

The Pegulas purchased the Buffalo Sabres and Rochester Americans in 2011. They subsequently bought the Bills and now operate all holdings under Pegula Sports and Entertainment. 

Pegula has keyed a major revitalization project, HarborCenter, in downtown Buffalo. She has led the acquisition efforts for real estate in the city and aided in the creation of the regional sports network, MSG Western New York. 

Pegula is a graduate of Houghton College and the family donated $12 million to the school for the construction of the Kerr-Pegula Sports Complex. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but grew up in the United States after being adopted in 1974.
