Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott Speaks at the Learfield Intercollegiate Athletics Forum

Top administrators from college sports spent the last two days at the Learfield Intercollegiate Athletics Forum. Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott was one present who got to speak at the event in New York City. 

The conference's theme was "Examining the Business of College Sports" and it was held at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. On Wednesday, Scott was the featured interview at 4 p.m. 

Scott's presentation was titled, "A Look at the Pac-12 Multimedia Rights Model, and More." Several other top experts spoke during the two days, including Big 10 commissioner Jim Delany.

Scott has been commissioner of the Pac-12 since 2009. He has led the conference through expansion and record-setting media rights deals. 

Under Scott's watch, the Pac-12 also instituted a Football Championship Game. He also instituted Pac-12 Global in 2011 and through that initiative member institutions have played games in Australia and China. 

Prior to joining the Pac-12, Scott was the Chairman and CEO of the Women's Tennis Association for six years. He entered the tennis business after his career as a professional player.
