New Baylor Football Coach Jim Grobe Speaks at Mission Waco Breakfast September 8th

Unique circumstances have led Jim Grobe to become the new head coach at Baylor.  While he must quickly rally a football team around him that has talent to win the Big 12, he also is uniting the community behind his roster.

On September 8th, Grobe will speak at the Mission Waco Champion of Christian Service Breakfast.  The breakfast will be held at the Waco Convention Center in the McLennan Room.

Individual seats are $50 and table prices begin at $325 with several higher sponsorship levels still available.  Mission Waco does a good deal in the local area to provide for the less fortunate.

Due to his high character and success on the field, Grobe was hired to guide the Baylor program following the dismissal of Art Briles.  From 2001-2013, he was the head football coach at Wake Forest University.

Grobe had unprecedented success with the Demon Deacons program, recording five winning seasons and winning three bowl games.  In 2006, he led the squad to an 11-3 record and Atlantic Coast Conference title.

That year, Grobe was named AP College Football Coach of the Year.  He originally came to Wake from Ohio where he was the Bobcats head coach for six seasons.
