MSU Football Coach Dan Mullen Speaks at Mississippi Bowl Banquet December 1st

Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen is known for turning the Bulldogs into a consistent winner. As one of the more high-profile sports figures in the state, he is sure to be well-received when he comes to speak at the Mississippi Bowl Banquet. 

The event takes place on December 1st at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's Hospitality Resort Management Center. The Mississippi Bowl annually pits the two best teams in the NJCAA. 

This year, the matchup pits East Mississippi and Arizona Western against each over on December 3rd at A.L. May Stadium. Mullen previously spoke at the banquet in 2013. 

Mullen has been the head coach at Mississippi State since 2009 and led the program to seven straight bowl games. He has won at least nine games three times and has the Bulldogs currently sitting at 8-3 with one game to play.

In 2014, Mullen was named the Associated Press SEC Coach of the Year. With 69 victories, he ranks second in school history to legendary coach Jackie Sherrill

Mullen gained experience in coaching on Urban Meyer's staffs at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Wagner College in 1994.
