Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Case Keenum Keynotes Family Football Fest

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Case Keenum had a busy Super Bowl week filled with appearances. On Wednesday, he was able to impact many at a speaking engagement at Shakopee High School.

The Family Football Fest was put on by the NFL. Several other Vikings players also attended the event, included fellow quarterback Teddy Bridgewater

Keenum talked about all the life lessons he has learned from football. He also shared the importance he places in faith and some stories from his year in Minneapolis.

Keenum started 14 games for the Vikings in 2017 and threw for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing 67.6 percent of his passes. He also led Minnesota to the NFC Championship Game.

The Houston Texans originally signed Keenum as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He ended up starting ten games in two seasons with the franchise.

Before arriving in Minnesota, Keenum spent the previous two seasons with the Rams as a part-time starter. He played college football at the University of Houston and holds NCAA career records for passing yards and passing touchdowns.
