Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Case Keenum Holds Youth Camp Next Month

The task of ushering pro football back into the Los Angeles market is partially on the shoulders of Rams starting quarterback Case Keenum.  As a new ambassador for the sport in the city, he will hold a youth camp on October 30th.

The camp will be held at Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks.  It will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for boys and girls in grades 1-8.

Registration for the camp is $49.  Those who attend will receive an autograph from Keenum, team photo and camp t-shirt.

In the Rams first home game back in LA this Sunday, Keenum completed 60 percent of his passes and threw for 239 yards.  He also started five games for the Rams in 2015.

The Houston Texans originally signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2012.  In his second season, he started eight games, throwing for 1,760 yards and nine touchdowns.

At the University of Houston, Keenum had one of the most prolific careers in college football history.  He threw for over 5,000 yards and 44 touchdowns three times.
