Los Angeles Chargers General Manager Tom Telesco Speaks at CIF Southern Section Championship Luncheon

The Los Angeles Chargers have been working hard to become part of their new community. General manager Tom Telesco was out this week speaking at the CIF Southern Section championship football luncheon.

There were 28 teams that took part in the event on Monday at The Grand. Telesco talked about his experience winning and losing a Super Bowl while working with the Indianapolis Colts.

That message resonated with several players trying to lead their teams to a championship. Games take place on Friday.

Telesco became the youngest general manager in Chargers history when he was hired in 2013. He has drafted star players like Jason Verrett, Melvin Gordon and Joey Bosa

From 1998-2012, Telesco was the vice president of football operations with the Colts. He also spent the last six years of his tenure as the team's director of player personnel.

Telesco began his career in football as a summer intern with the Buffalo Bills from 1991-94. He then became a scouting assistant with the Carolina Panthers in 1995.
