Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid Keynotes GenealogyKC Conference

GenealogyKC is hosting a family history conference with one of Kansas City's biggest sports personalities. The head coach, Andy Reid, is serving as one of the keynote speakers.

The event takes place September 8th and 9th at the Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Each day lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

There are activities for beginners and expert genealogists alike. On Saturday, attendees will also attempt to form the largest human model of the human X-chromosome.

Reid was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999-2012, where he set a franchise record with 130 wins. They went to four NFC championship games and Super Bowl XXXIX.

From 2001-12, Reid also served as the Eagles vice president of football operations. He has since guided the Chiefs to three playoff appearances, including AFC West Division title in 2016.
