Iowa State Basketball Coach Steve Prohm Speaks at Iowa Swine Day June 29th

Iowa State basketball coach Steve Prohm has become a huge hit with the Cyclones. This month, he will be speaking at an event on campus that invites several prominent business leaders from around the state. 

Prohm is a keynote presenter at Iowa Swine Day on June 29th. He will share notes on Iowa State basketball and participate in a Q&A session. 

Early bird registration is open until June 17th and the $50 fee includes lunch, refreshments and a notebook. Sign-up on the day of the event is $75. 

Prohm has guided the Cyclones to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances during his first two years in Ames. Last year, ISU won the Big 12 Tournament Championship. 

Before arriving at Iowa State, Prohm was the head coach at Murray State for four seasons. In his first season with the Racers, they went 31-2 and won the Ohio Valley Conference. 

Prohm was the OVC Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2015. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Centenary before moving on to the staffs at Southeastern Louisiana and Tulane.
