Houston Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien Named Keynote Speaker at Texas A&M Coaches Clinic

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien has had great success in his coaching career.  O'Brien shares his expertise this weekend as a keynote speaker at the Texas A&M Football Coaches Clinic.

The clinic runs Friday and Saturday at the Texas A&M Hall of Champioons.  O'Brien will address the crowd beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Registration for the two-day event is $65.  In addition to O'Brien, members of the New Orleans Saints and Texas A&M coaching staffs will speak.

In his first two seasons with the Texans, O'Brien has posted back-to-back 9-7 seasons.  Last year, Houston captured the AFC South title before losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Wild Card Game.

Previously, O'Brien was a head coach on the college level at Penn State.  He weathered the storm of NCAA sanctions to lead the Nittany Lions to two winning seasons.

In 2012, O'Brien was named Big 10 Coach of the Year and Bear Bryant College Coach of the Year.  He gained a name in the coaching world as an assistant for five seasons with the New England Patriots.
