Hall of Fame Defensive Back Rod Woodson Speaks at Montana State Football Event Next Month

There is bound to be some extra buzz around Montana State football's Triangle Classic Banquet this year. They have lured Pro Football Hall of Famer Rod Woodson to speak.

The event takes place April 7th at the Four Seasons Arena in Montana Expo Park. A single ticket to attend is $85 and a table of ten is $800. 

As part of the weekend's festivities, the Bobcat football team is conducting a limited scrimmage the next day at 11 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. There will also be football and spirit squad clinics that morning on the Great Falls practice fields starting at 9 a.m. 

Woodson played 17 NFL seasons and became one of the top safeties in league history. His 71 interceptions rank third-most all-time and he is the career leader with 12 interceptions returned for touchdowns. 

Woodson was an 11-time Pro Bowler and six-time first-team All-Pro. He spent the first decade of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1993. 

Woodson played in three Super Bowls and won a title with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2009, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
