Golden State Warriors General Manager Bob Myers Keynotes Zoomtopia Next Month

The video conferencing company Zoom is hosting their first user conference, Zoomtopia, next month. While they have been innovators in the cloud computing world, they are bringing in a trailblazer from an entirely different industry to serve as keynote speaker.

Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers is appearing at the one-day event. It will be held on September 26th in San Mateo, California.

Myers will talk with Zoomtopia Head of Sales Greg Holmes about elite level performance, the Warriors' core organizational values and how to sustain a winning culture. Individual registration for the conference is $695, while groups of four or more can get a $100 per person discount.

Myers was hired as assistant general manager in 2011 and was promoted to general manager a year later. He has built one of the NBA's all-time great teams.

In 2015 and 2017, Golden State won NBA championships and Myers was named Executive of Year. The Warriors also set a regular season record with 73 wins in 2016.

Before joining the organization, Myers was a sports agent. He spent five seasons with the Wasserman Media Group after beginning his career with SFX Sports.
