Former Tennessee Titans General Manager Floyd Reese Speaks at Jim Wood Golden Bison Luncheon

The National Bison Club at Lipscomb University is hosting a special event Wednesday. The Jim Wood Golden Bison Luncheon will feature former Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese.

The event takes place in the Allen Arena Hall of Fame Room at 11:30 a.m. The price for club members is $10.

Reese is one of the top names in Nashville sports history. He should have some fascinating insight and fun stories to share with the club.

Reese originally started with the Titans organization when they were the Houston Oilers. He started as a linebackers coach in 1986 before being promoted to assistant general manager and then ultimately general manager in 1994.

After helping the franchise transition to Tennessee, Reese built a roster that reached the Super Bowl in 1999. He drafted franchise centerpieces like Eddie George, Jevon Kearse and Steve McNair.

Reese resigned from the organization in 2006 and has spent time as a media personality and senior football advisor for the New England Patriots. He is currently a co-host of the afternoon drive radio show "Jared & The GM" on the popular Nashville station 102.5 The Game.
