Former Star Relief Pitcher Al Hrabosky Speaks at the Claremore Field of Dreams Baseball Banquet January 12th

Next month, former top relief pitcher Al Hrabosky will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma to speak at the Claremore Field of Dreams Baseball Banquet. The 11th annual banquet will be held on January 12th at the Claremore Conference Center. 

Proceeds from the event benefit the Claremore High School and Rogers State baseball programs. Individual tickets are $100 and tables of eight are $650. 

Hrabosky will tell awesome stories from his life in baseball. In addition to his presentation, there is a live and silent auction scheduled for the evening. 

Hrabosky has familiarity with the Tulsa area during two minor league stints with the Tulsa Oilers. He spent the first eight seaons of his major league career with the St. Louis Cardinals. 

While with the Cardinals, Hrabosky led the National League with 22 saves in 1975. He also played two seasons for the Kansas City Royals and three years with the Atlanta Braves. 

At each of his stops, Hrabosky was a fan favorite for his unique appearance and intense antics on the mound. Today, he still works for the Cardinals as an analyst on the television broadcasts.
