Former NFL Wide Receiver Nate Burleson Keynotes Nevada Governor’s Dinner Next Month

Former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson first became a true football star while attending the University of Nevada. As a high-profile former Wolfpack player, he is a terrific choice to serve as the keynote speaker for the 49th annual Nevada Governor's Dinner.

The event takes place on July 7th at the Governor's Mansion in Carson City. Individual tickets are $350 and tables of ten are $3,500.

There are also VIP tickets available that include a pre-dinner reception with Burleson for $500 and $5000. Proceeds from the event benefit the student-athlete scholarship fund at the University of Nevada.

As a senior, Burleson was named an All-American and All-Western Athletic Conference selection. He led the NCAA in receptions and yards per game.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Burleson in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He recorded over 1,000 yards receiving and nine touchdowns in his second season.

Burleson joined him hometown Seattle Seahawks in 2006 and also played with the Detroit Lions. He is the newest analyst for the 2017 season on CBS' pregame show, The NFL Today
