Former NFL Quarterback Jason Campbell Speaks at Gulf Coast Athletic Club in October

Even though his NFL career has come to an end, former Auburn quarterback Jason Campbell remains a familiar name in the state of Alabama.  This fall, he will be apart of the speaker seres at the Gulf Coast Athletic Club.

Campbell will speak on October 10th.  The club officially started their meetings this week on Monday with longtime college football head coach Billy Curry.

GCAC events are held at the Craft Farms clubhouse in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  A season-long membership is $200 and those that want to attend individual meetings can do so for $30.

Campbell had a ten-year NFL career at quarterback.  He was a first round pick of the Washington Redskins in 2005 and spent his first five seasons with the franchise.

On two occasions with Washington, Campbell threw for over 3,000 yards.  He also played for the Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns.

In 2004, Campbell was the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Year at Auburn.  That season, he led the Tigers to an undefeated record and was named Sugar Bowl Most Valuable Player.
