Former NFL All-Pro Troy Vincent Speaks at Detroit Lions Courage House Dinner in October

The Detroit Lions are hosting their Courage House Dinner with one of the NFL's all-time best cornerbacks turned league executives. Troy Vincent will speak at the event on October 3rd.

Festivities will be held at Ford Field. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Oakland County domestic violence and sexual assault center, HAVEN.

Over the last 23 years, the dinner has raised $2.2 million for HAVEN. In addition to Vincent's presentation, the Ed Block Courage Award and Ricky Sandoval Award will be handed out.

Vincent was an All-American at the University of Wisconsin and the Miami Dolphins selected him in the first round of the 1992 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he became a starter and was part of a Dolphins team that reached the AFC Championship Game.

When Vincent joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 1996, he became a star. He was a three-time All-Pro and was selected to five straight Pro Bowls from 1999-2003.

Vincent was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame in 2012. He is currently the NFL's Executive Vice President of Football Operations.
