Former Major League Outfielder Randy Winn Speaks at Cal State East Bay Alumni Dinner February 17th

Cal State East Bay's baseball program is bringing in a former major leaguer to speak. Randy Winn is addressing attendees at the program's alumni dinner on February 17th. 

The event takes place at Crow Canyon Country Club. It begins with a cocktail hour from 6-7 p.m., followed by dinner, Winn's presentation and the introduction of the 2018 CSEB team. 

Limited seating is still available for $60. During Alumni Weekend, the team will also host a golf tournament and alumni baseball game. 

Winn played 13 big league seasons after debuting with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 1998. He spent the first four years of his career as a reserve but was named an American League All-Star in 2002. 

Winn went on to spend parts of three seasons with the Seattle Mariners and parts of five seasons with the San Francisco Giants. He hit over .300 three times. 

Winn played one final season with the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals 2010. He currently serves as an analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area.
