Former Georgia Bulldogs Head Coach Ray Goff Speaks at Gulf Coast Athletic Club in November

The Gulf Coast Athletic Club is back hosting their Monday meetings throughout football season.  One of the speakers that is coming through is former Georgia coach Ray Goff

Goff's appearance will take place on November 21st.  Each event is held at the Craft Farms clubhouse in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  

Meetings begin with a social time at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the speaker presentation at 7:00.  Year-long memberships are $200 and individuals can attend specific events for $30.  

Goff was the head coach at his alma mater from 1989-1995.  He won 46 games as Georgia coach and ripped off a memorable campaign in 1992. 

That year, the Bulldogs won 10 games and were tops in the Southeastern Conference East Division.  They were also victorious in the Florida Citrus Bowl and finished eighth in the country. 

Prior to taking over the UGA program, Goff served as an understudy to coaching icon Vince Dooley at the school from 1981-1988.  He was a former SEC Player of the Year at quarterback and team captain under Dooley.
