Former Buffalo Bills Fan Favorite Steve Tasker Keynotes Compeer Sports Luncheon

Upstate New York has a love affair with the Buffalo Bills. One of their former fan favorites, Steve Tasker, was speaking on Wednesday in Rochester, New York. 

Tasker was the keynote speaker at the annual Compeer Sports Luncheon. He talked about becoming a mentor and the power of mentorship. 

Tasker also shared some thoughts on the 2017 Bills. He praised head coach Sean McDermott's method for getting his team together and connecting them to each other. 

Tasker spent the first two seasons of his NFL career with the Houston Oilers before joining the Bills in 1986. He became one of the greatest special teams players in league history. 

Tasker was a seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time first-team All-Pro. He spent ten seasons in Buffalo and played in four straight Super Bowls with the franchise. 

Tasker is a member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame and was voted to the team's 50th anniversary All-Time Team. He has been in broadcasting since his retirement and currently works with CBS Sports.
