Former All-Pro cornerback Asante Samuel was one of the best at his position for a decade. He is also one of the greatest players to ever come out of the University of Central Florida. 

Samuel will be making an appearance over the weekend that adds to the buzz surrounding UCF's appearance in the 50th Chik-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. He will be holding a meet and greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday outside of the city at a Walmart located at 1550 Scenic Highway North in Snellville. 

Samuel will sign autographs and pose for photos with Knights fans and football enthusiasts. The event is apart of Dr. Pepper's Road to the Championship promotion. 

Samuel made an early impact after the New England Patriots selected him in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He won two Super Bowls in his five seasons with the franchise. 

From 2007-10, Samuel was selected to the Pro Bowl each year. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2007, a second-team All-Pro in 2009 and led the NFL in interceptions twice. 

Samuel ended his career playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons. He is a member of the New England Patriots All-2000s Team.
