ESPN Personality Bomani Jones Speaks at Chicago State University

ESPN personality Bomani Jones is a rising star in sports media. On Tuesday, he held an enlightening conversation that touched on many of his career experiences at Chicago State University. 

The school presented the talk titled, "The Intersection of Sports, Politics and Race: An Interview with Bomani Jones." The event was held from 12:30-2:00 p.m. in the fourth-floor library auditorium. 

Jones' appearance was part of CSU's Knowledge Tuesday. It was particularly timely given the new phenomenon of constant crossover between political and sports headlines. 

Jones has been a writer and commentator at ESPN for over two years. He is set to debut a new television program for the network on January 2nd. 

From 2013-17, Jones was the co-host of Highly Questionable alongside Dan LeBatard. He has also hosted The Right Time with Bomani Jones for ESPN Radio. 

Outside of ESPN, Jones hosts the webcast, The Evening Jones. He began his career as a sports talk radio host in Raleigh, North Carolina and an adjunct professor at Duke and Elon Universities.
