Former NBA Coach Doug Collins Named Keynote Speaker for REFUEL Conference

Former NBA head coach Doug Collins knows what it takes to motivate a winning team. He will impart the lessons he learned over a lifetime in basketball as the keynote speaker at the REFUEL Conference.

Dealer Inspire is sponsoring the event that takes place on December 4 at the Yellowbox Church in Naperville, Illinois. Attendees should expect Collins and other standout speakers in attendance to encourage new ideas, physical and mental health, creativity, and striving to achieve personal goals.

Other keynote presenters at the REFUEL Conference include CNN commentator Mel Robbins, journalist Manoush Zomordoi and ABC news anchor Dan Harris. Tickets are available online for $50 and all proceeds benefit the not-for-profit, Loaves & Fishes.

Before embarking on a successful coaching career, Collins was a four-time NBA All-Star over eight seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers. He became a head coach for the first time in 1968 and guided a Chicago Bulls team led by a young Michael Jordan

Collins led the Bulls to three straight playoff appearances, including a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. He later coached Detroit Pistons, Washington Wizards and the Sixers, finishing with a 442-407 record over 11 seasons.

Off the court, Collins has been a successful broadcaster and is a recipient of the Curt Gowdy Media Award. He is currently a senior advisor of basketball operations for the Bulls.
