There are sure to be plenty of excited Los Angeles Dodgers fans in attendance at this year's Cal State Bakersfield Hot Stove Dinner. That is because new franchise star Cody Bellinger is the guest speaker. 

The event takes place on January 20th at the Kern County Fairgrounds. It is presented by Motor City Buick GMC and the Don C. and Diane S. Lake Family. 

Seating is limited to 500 people and individual tickets are $125. Table sponsorships are also available and a ten-seat table is $1,000. 

Bellinger had an impressive 2017 debut, picking up All-Star and National League Rookie of the Year honors. He finished the season hitting .267 with 39 home runs and 97 RBI. 

Bellinger was also an essential part of a Dodgers team that made it to the World Series. He was named NL Rookie of the Month twice, hit for the cycle in July and participated in the All-Star Home Run Derby. 

Los Angeles originally selected Bellinger in the fourth round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He was a California League midseason and postseason All-Star in 2015.
